I’m a storyteller. I start with ideas I want to communicate and draw visual images that best represent what I’m trying to say. Over the years, I’ve created a visual dictionary that includes hundreds of drawn images. When I’m creating a body of work, that dictionary of images informs what I throw on the wheel, bringing the forms and surface details together.
