This incredible installation, STELARC’s Anthropomorphic Machine, uses cameras and code to analyse the movements of people around it and respond to create a dynamic kinetic sculpture. Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology PhD candidate Gabriele Marini is one of the people responsible for the technology behind the machine, currently on display at Science Gallery Melbourne as part of the SWARM exhibition.
