"Somersault" Split Squats...this is a variation of the Somersault Squat exercise where you hold weight on your upper thigh then focus primarily on knee flexion rather than performing a full squat. This is a good version done one leg at a time instead of both legs. I found I did need to have my front foot elevated a few inches to get a good feel on it. I have a small ledge in my garage so I just my foot on there but a small Step riser or even a bumper plate would work just fine. I'm holding a 135
