As the humans who are responsible for planning their outdoor movement, we choose to make responsible decisions to protect the trails. Following heavy rains, or snow melt, we select trails with rocky surfaces or excellent drainage. When it’s not possible to find a non-muddy trail, we take hard surface walks. Why? Because we don’t
