Like pieces to the puzzle… but messy 🧩 🎨 Everyone has their painting techniques and philosophies. I find the shapes and volume in every portrait I paint. So much so you I’m not painting “a portrait” anymore. Each shape gives life to the bigger picture. Thinking this way actually simplifies this process.
