Who wants to play in the sandbox? This is a circa 1940s Bucyrus-Erie 15-B cable operated crane with a 15 feet, 6 inch boom and a 12 feet, 6 inch handle. It weighs in at about 26,000 pounds and capable of moving a half a yard of pay dirt per pass. The 15-B is powered by a Caterpillar D315 rated at 54 horsepower running at 1325 RPM. This crane was demonstrated at the 100 Years Of Progress at the Edverville Show in Carthage, North Carolina. The surrounding grounds is sandy soil making it a perfect
