Teachers Learn About ALICE Training In Real Scenarios - Lakeland PBS

We had an incredible day of ALICE Training at Lapeer High School today! Thank you to all our employees who took part as well as our police and staff volunteers! Special thanks to Joe Wood, Doug Lindsay, AJ Wetzel, Hunter Salisbury, Stephanie Shibley, Don Brady and the Oakland Tech Team for all your hard work! The Shasta County Sheriff’s Office was honored to be invited by Trinity County to help lead a multi-agency training focused on Law Enforcement response to school violence. Those who took part gathered at Hayfork High School. School staff were presented with ALICE Training. ALICE (which stands for Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate), is a widely adopted method of active shooter response training.
