There's three things that are really commonly used for discipline that I don’t recommend. 1️⃣ Timeout. I personally don’t like time out as I don’t think it teaches anything, and I don’t think it’s very nice to send them away. 2️⃣ Diversion. When they're doing something bad, and you divert them with something fun, because you never divert with broccoli. It’s like a direct reward for bad behaviour. 3️⃣ Countdown. It teaches kids they can act out in the short term, and nothing happens because of it
