On April 25, 2025 just after 4:30 pm, Engine 4 was dispatched to I-40 Westbound near 6th Street for a reported vehicle fire. Engine 4 arrived to a well involved passenger vehicle and stretched a line for fire control. The vehicle was a total loss and a mechanical issue was suspected. No injuries were reported.
