This project started with one sick wombat and quickly grew into a massive undertaking with a group of amazing volunteers, where we service just under 130 burrow-flaps every week. This is such an important message and it is critical that the right message is sent out into the world. Mange in wombats is a killer. It is treatable but without it, the wombat suffers a horrible and painful death. It is a costly exercise to treat wombats in the wild and I could not have done this without the volunteers
