STRAIGHT LEG RAISE TEST (SLR) OR LASÈGUE TEST FOR RADICULAR PAIN The SLR is the most common test used in the diagnosis of radicular pain in case of a symptomatic disc herniation with nerve root compression. According to a Cochrane review by van der Windt et al. (2010) it has a pooled sensitivity of 92% and a specificity of 28%.
