Losing a child is the most painful experience that any parent can be asked to go through, especially when it's a young child. Losing a child is like losing one’s heart and then being expected to carry on with life as though everything is still the same – and just is not. You are expected to act in a specific manner and this is just not the case. No one should expect a bereaved parent to function like normal. That old normal is gone and nt. new normal is here to stay.
