Big Eastern Brown Snake Eating Large Rat! What an experience this was! Its not very often you get to sit and watch a Brown snake try and eat a meal for almost an hour. I sat there for ages as this Brown snake tried to swallow this huge rat that he had caught. Unfortunately in the end he wasnt able to swallow it down and dropped it and tried to take off to get away and hide! Luckily I was able to bag him up and relocate him back out into the bush to find a smaller rat next time. Thanks to Dave an

Snakes want to GET AWAY from humans!! 🐍 Even with James’ gloved hand right on the Eastern Browns tail, it still tried to get away. It’s not chasing, or attacking, or being aggressive! It is scared and protecting itself.
