A SHANK ultimately happens when the bottom of the shaft moves closer to the ball at impact. This can be caused by several factors, including: • Too much weight moving onto the toes • The chest lowering or dipping through impact • The wrists being overly cocked • The arms returning too high • Extreme swing paths in either direction…..
