What Do Penguins Eat?

Have you ever had lunch with a penguin? 🐧 An African penguin’s diet includes a nutritious and delicious mix of rainbow trout, capelin, sardines, anchovies, and smelt. During meal time, one member of our Animal Care Team focuses on feeding the penguins while another records exactly what each penguin eats to monitor diet, health, and behavior.
