I love finding live sand dollars, they are amazing creatures! They’re living echinoderms (sea star and sea urchin cousins!) covered in tiny moving tube feet helping them move food to their mouth (which is in the center underneath!). If you ever find one alive, please don’t keep it. Gently admire it, place it back where you found it, and cover it lightly with sand so it can stay protected.
