Using your Moulage you are able to draft in ease to create a front and back sloper for a top/shirt, dress or skirt. Add in additional ease and you can create a jacket sloper. More ease added will create a coat sloper. A SLOPER is a basic pattern developed on paper by drafting, but with seam allowances omitted, used as a tool to create other patterns. I also us

A great #sewingtip from @peterlappin - Instead of using the crisscrossing catch stitch to anchor down seam allowances, his haute couture construction professor Kenneth D. King suggested you use this modified pad stitch which works equally as well but is faster and uses less thread. Be sure when you’re stitching beyond the seam allowance that you’re picking up only a few threads of the canvas and not the fashion fabric. #tailoring #menwhosew #fashioninstituteoftechnology #hautecoutureconstruction
