Schluter LED niche installation tips…I added the stainless steel connection box inside the niche. This allows the special LIPROTEC cable to click into the box and make a watertight seal. The LED light plugs into the cable and is dimmable at the switch. Schluter LED shower niche tips…I install the Schluter profile so that it’s centered. Then I set the tile to match the pattern on the main wall. The LIPROTEC light strip connects to the waterproof cable in the top of the niche. Power is controlled by the dimmer/driver switch outside the shower. I love how this niche turned out.
