Two things that will make it easier for your puppy to understand how to lay down is….. 1️⃣. Sit at their level. By bringing our body down to them it is not as intimidating. I sit on the floor at their level with the “place” in front of me. (Remember how I said teaching place was best taught first!) 2️⃣. Some puppies need you to look away! They don’t like the eye contact. All puppies learn differently as people do! What works for one will need to be adapted for another. Also I use “laying” as pup
