A happy cow is one of the sweetest sounds! 💚 When Evan was born into the dairy industry, he was seen as a “waste product” because he was male and couldn’t produce milk. With no long-term profit potential, his future was bleak. Many male calves like Evan are sold for veal or cheap beef—often while sick—or abandoned altogether because the cost of care outweighs their profit potential. Thankfully, Evan’s story didn’t end there. We rescued him, provided the treatment he needed, and helped him heal.
