This Gibson Style 2 from 1929 left the factory as a tenor F.O.N. 9487-41 and has been converted to a 5-string with a beautiful walnut neck with Florentine inlay from Wyatt Fawley. The Style 2 was a "step up" from the 1 featuring a 4-lug walnut resonator. The rim remains uncut with the 1/4" brass hoop and the hardware is original. The Grover Presto also remain unpunched. **For Sale** This 1930's original 5-String RB-00 has undergone an extensive upgrade to Mastertone status. The neck was inlaid by David Foster to a wreath pattern with a fleur-de-lis in the peghead without fret board removal or overspray. Sullivan "pancake" tuners added.
