Ethiopia's Orthodox Christians are celebrating Epiphany, locally known as Timkat. Monday's celebrations commemorate the baptism of Jesus Christ by John the Baptist and to millions of Ethiopians it is an important religious holiday, nearly as significant as Easter and Christmas.
