The fossilised remains of a newly discovered dinosaur - unearthed right here on the Isle of Wight - have gone on display at Dinosaur Isle in Sandown! Vectipelta barretti is the first new type of armoured dinosaur, known as an ankylosaur, to be uncovered on the 'dinosaur isle' in more than 140 years. The Isle of Wight's 1st outdoor, floating aqua park will make a big splash 💦 when it opens in Spring 2020! The floating, inflatable course from Tapnell Farm Park will feature a range of obstacles. A section will be kept obstacle-free for kayaking, paddle-boarding and free swimming. There will be shower and changing facilities and a viewing platform for those who would rather stay dry.
