This spot at the picnic area of Swimming Beach at Colter Bay is a great place to spend a day in hammocks, picnicing, and paddleboarding (ALWAYS wear a PDF / life jacket). This spot provided shade up to 5:00 pm. Our NP campground in Grand Teton didn’t have showers! 😮 I expected dry camping in the national park campsites, but I was surprised when the bathrooms only had toilets and sinks. For 324 campsites in Colter Bay, the shower facility is located in a separate location at the visitor center and they charge $5.
