Here is a pretty nice Walnut tree. I will cut as low as I can go. I stick my saw in to a pocket in between flares and bore everything out of the middle. I walk around to the far side of the tree to a place where my saw had come out and finish the bore. I will start cutting down on the flares untill I reach my bore cut.
