BNSF's Salmon Bay bridge in Seattle is an important component of our 32,500-mile network, connecting critical parts of the Pacific Northwest to the rest of the U.S. supply chain. We're replacing the counterweight, which allows the bridge to open, so that we can continue to operate safely and efficiently. Replacing the counterweight rather than replacing the entire bridge will minimize the project’s impact on the surrounding area. | BNSF Railway
