Bayern Munich legend Thomas Müller has hit the ground running in MLS. With his Vancouver Whitecaps side in a hard-fought battle with St. Louis City SC, Müller stepped to the spot at the 90’+14’ mark to hit the game winner, sending the squad and the home crowd into a frenzy.

The German footballer had himself a memorable performance on Saturday, scoring a game-winning penalty late in injury time in front of a sold-out BC Place crowd of over 26,000 fans. This helped the Whitecaps defeat St. Louis City SC by a score of 3-2, improving Vancouver’s record to 14-6-7 on the season.
