In Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Rebecca Romijn and Christina Chong play best friends. Lt. Commander Una Chin-Riley is the perfect First Officer, and La'an is the Enterprise's no-nonsense Chief of Security. However, Una and La'an undergo some changes in Strange New Worlds season 3 's genre-bending episodes.

Strange New Worlds has done it all — a musical episode, an animated crossover, a documentary (upcoming in season 3), a murder-mystery episode (also in season 3) — the show will now delve into the puppet-verse.
