DeKalb County lifted its State of Emergency on Thursday, but officials are still urging drivers to be cautious while driving at night after this week's snow.

DeKalb County CEO Lorraine Cochran-Johnson put the state of emergency in place Wednesday after Tuesday’s weather caused dangerous road conditions across the county.

All of Georgia remains under a state of emergency as some dangerous road conditions continue to pose a threat to drivers.

DeKalb County has lifted the state of emergency put in place due to winter weather earlier this week. CEO Lorraine Cochran-Johnson announced it had been lifted on Thursday, Jan. 23.
