Ryan Gosling has been announced as the star of a new Star Wars film, to be helmed by Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy. Star Wars: Starfighter has been set for a May 28, 2027, release.

Ryan Gosling has joined "Deadpool & Wolverine" director Shawn Levy for the highly anticipated "Star Wars: Starfighter," slated to be released in May 2027. In a galaxy far, far away.

Now, Gosling has confirmed that he will star in Levy's film, which the Deadpool & Wolverine director has been working on since 2022, at the Star Wars Celebration event in Tokyo.
