Without control of the White House or Congress, the new DNC chair, Minnesota's Ken Martin, will lead a Democratic Party that is still figuring out its future after a bruising election.
Ken Martin of Minnesota is the new chair of the Democratic Committee. Members of the DNC elected Martin on the first ballot in a vote outside of Washington D.C.
The Democratic National Committee elected Ken Martin as its new chair on Feb. 1. Martin previously served as the chairman of the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor (DFL) Party since 2011.
