Twitch is upping subscription prices on mobile Twitch hiked the price of Tier 1 subscriptions on the web in July, and starting in October, you’ll have to pay more in the mobile app, too.

Twitch web subscriptions had cost $4.99 per month until July, when the US price was increased to $5.99. The company tweeted that it would also be increasing app subscriptions in October.

This is the first time Twitch has ever adjusted Tier 1 subscription prices in the US, as prices are being raised from $4.99 to $5.99 a month on July 11.

Twitch is introducing Partner Plus, a program boosting the cut streamers earn to 70% of subscription revenue -- with a few conditions, however.
