District Fire Chief Mario Oquendo, Jr. said the fire broke out around 1:30 a.m. in the 200 block of Wethersfield Avenue.

The fire broke out at a two-and-a-half-story brick building in the city's South End. Two firefighters were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
