Being a title contender has its perks. One of those being the NBA flexing games to the national stage. The Oklahoma City Thunder added another game to their national television slate when the league announced their contest against the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday, Feb. 5 will now also be broadcasted on ESPN.

The NBA announced that the matchup between the Suns and Thunder in Oklahoma City on Wednesday, Feb. 5 will now be shown at 9:30 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on ESPN. Of course, this game now replaces ESPN’s originally scheduled matchup between the Denver Nuggets and New Orleans Pelicans.

That was proven again when ESPN's Tim MacMahon reported that the Thunder were interested in the Phoenix Suns ' 2031 unprotected first-round pick. Instead, the valuable draft asset went to the Utah Jazz in exchange for three first-round picks.

The Nets are coming off a 99-95 loss to the New York Knicks on Tuesday in which Brooklyn came back from a 13-point deficit to make the game close enough in the end to keep everybody in Barclays Center on their toes.
