All 13 Yosemite campgrounds will be open this summer, the National Parks Service announced. Additional openings will mean an extra 500 campgrounds for visitors.
When the second round ends, Burns will be the ninth player since 2000 to hold a one-shot lead after 36 holes at the U.S. Open. Only two of the previous eight went on to win — Angel Cabrera and Dustin Johnson, both here at Oakmont.
Spaun finished his round on Father’s Day as the only player under par, an incredible note about winning a major championship, and in absolutely incredible walk-off fashion. He proved that he was the most deserving winner of all who dared to tee it up last week.
Sunday at Oakmont was chaotic, challenging, maddening and entertaining. It was all you could ask for in a U.S. Open.
