West Michigan was filled with chants, signs and music on Saturday as thousands gathered to take part in a nationwide “No Kings” protest.

Protests organized by the "No Kings" Movement are scheduled to take place Saturday, June 14th across the U.S., including at Rosa Parks Circle in Grand Rapids.

Some organizers see the rallies as a gauge of shifting sentiment against President Trump and his aggressive policies.

The Lansing rally was scheduled for noon to 6 p.m. at the capitol, with speeches, conversations with politicians, games, and more.
