Planned Parenthood, the largest reproductive health provider in the United States, and two of its member organizations had filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration earlier Monday over the provision, which the groups said was meant to target Planned Parenthood and its member organizations over abortion access.

A federal judge granted a temporary restraining order preventing the Trump Administration cutting some funding from Planned Parenthood on Monday, after the organization filed a lawsuit against a measure in the GOP megabill defunding it.

The restraining order prevents the Trump administration from enacting a provision of the massive tax and policy law that would cut Medicaid funding for Planned Parenthood.
