A kayaker was rescued near the USS Lexington Museum after overturning his kayak in the water on Saturday afternoon.

A 35-year-old snorkeler was reported in critical condition after being pulled from the waters around the Mokulua Islands off the Windward Oahu coast just after noon Saturday.

CCFD Battalion Chief Robin McGill confirmed that the man was found resting on a jetty across from the Lexington entrance after his kayak overturned.
