The State Department has started flights to bring U.S. citizens from Israel to the U.S., the Trump administration’s ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, said. Travel in and out of Israel has been largely halted since Israel started striking Iran more than a week ago.

The State Department issued an information guide for American citizens who want to leave Israel and Iran amid the conflict between the two countries. Israel launched strikes at Iran on June 13 with the goal of diminishing its nuclear capabilities amid concerns that Tehran was working to build a nuclear weapon.
