One person was killed and fifteen people were wounded after multiple people opened fire in southeast Houston early Sunday, police said.

The shooting began after an "uninvited guest" was asked to leave, police said. One person was killed and more than a dozen wounded when gunfire erupted at a family party in Houston early Sunday, authorities said.

An 18-year-old man died in the shooting. His identity was still pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences late Sunday.
