African football chiefs on Thursday anointed Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi as the venue for the final on 30 August of the 2024 African Nations Championships (CHAN).

The draw for the historic event to be co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania on February 1-28 will be held at the iconic Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), Nairobi on Wednesday.

CHAN 2024 was initially set for September 2024 but was pushed to between February 1 and 28, 2025, due to lack of match venues that meet standards in some of the host countries, including Kenya.
