Connecticut Sun All-Star free agent center Brionna Jones is signing with the Atlanta Dream, just days after the team traded Alyssa Thomas.

Last season, Brionna Jones averaged 13.7 points per game for the Connecticut Sun en route to her third WNBA All-Star selection.

But on Jan. 28, Griner reportedly agreed to a deal with the Atlanta Dream, which would be the 34-year-old's second WNBA team after spending 11 seasons in Phoenix. Fellow top free agent Brionna Jones on Jan. 30 also reportedly agreed to join Atlanta, a major double haul for the franchise.

A two-time WNBA champion and six-time All-Star, Bonner leaves Connecticut after five seasons. She helped the Sun to five semifinals berths and a WNBA Finals appearance in 2022.

Jones helped the Sun reach the WNBA Finals in 2019 and 2022, winning Sixth Player of the Year in the latter season.
