The Notre Dame football program has seen three players leave via the transfer portal on Wednesday, days after the CFP loss.

On Tuesday, 247Sports' Matt Zenitz reported that the Cal linebacker is entering the transfer portal. The Golden Bears reached their fourth bowl game under head coach Justin Wilcox, their second consecutive in the past two seasons. However, Wilcox's last bowl victory was in 2019 against Illinois in the Redbox Bowl.

Notre Dame has lost two more players as exits to the transfer portal, this time with the losses coming in the wide receiver room. Graduates Jayden Thomas and Deion Colzie both announced on Wednesday that they are entering the transfer portal and will continue their college football careers elsewhere.

Ohio State football just won a national championship, but even champions aren’t immune to the transfer portal. Buckeyes cornerback Calvin Simpson-Hunt is headed to the portal, per 247 Sports. The Buckeyes cornerback played in nine games this season for the team.

Now that their championship season is over, Ohio State can enjoy the win while focusing on next year's roster. There's still going to be plenty of movement around the country in the transfer portal over the next few months.
