British Prime Minister Keir Starmer welcomes German Chancellor Olaf Scholz to his country estate as he repeats his aim to improve relations with European Union

LONDON (Reuters) - British Prime Minister Keir Starmer will host German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on Sunday at his Chequers country residence, Starmer's spokesperson said on Friday, weeks before a national election is due to take place in Germany.

In a video address to an AfD event last weekend, Musk told Germans they should “move on” from “past guilt.” This call, in line with AfD messaging that Germany’s culture of remembering the crimes it committed during the Nazi era is detrimental to the country, sparked outrage in Germany and beyond.

Sir Keir Starmer will host German Chancellor Olaf Scholz over the weekend, Downing Street has confirmed. The two leaders are due to meet on Sunday, and comes as the Government is looking to reset its relationship with the European Union.
