Chuck Todd, who served as moderator of the Sunday morning NBC News franchise “Meet the Press” from 2014 to 2023, announced to colleagues Friday morning that he is leaving the network. Since handing the “Meet the Press” moderator baton to Kristen Welker, Todd has served as NBC’s chief political analyst.

Chuck Todd is departing NBC News after nearly two decades, he announced in a memo to staffers on Friday, Jan. 31. The exit comes just a year and a half after he left 'Meet the Press' after nine years.
