Military parade on 6/14 will feature imagery similar to autocratic, oppressive regimes, i.e. N. Korea, Russia, and China, marching through DC. A parade in Washington, D.C., commemorating the 250th anniversary of the armed services and coinciding with the birthday of President Donald Trump, kicked off Saturday with a grand showing of the military's power throughout the National Mall.

Hours before the parade, a steady stream of people were queuing to get into the Army Birthday Festival on the National Mall. Many donned t-shirts with American flags, Army fatigues, insignia honoring military service and the occasional MAGA hat.
