FOX 26 Houston on MSNFlood Advisory for parts of Harris, Montgomery CountiesHOUSTON - A Flood Advisory is in effect for parts of northern Houston as strong storms cross the area. According to the local office for the National Weather Service (NWS), a Flood Advisory is in effect for northern Harris County and for Montgomery County. The advisory is in effect until 6:15 p.m. on Sunday.
HOUSTON – Flood Threat: Once again, some areas picked up multiple inches of rain on Friday, so any additional rain that we get (and we will get some), it could lead to more areas sitting under flash flood warnings quickly on Saturday or Sunday.
A Flood Watch continues on this ABC13 Weather Alert Day until 7 p.m. Some locations closer to Matagorda Bay even picked up over a foot of rain since midnight.
