Smoke from the wildfires is expected to move out by Tuesday but could return as the fires continue to burn across Canada.

The Maine Department of Environmental Protection has issued an Air Quality Alert for communities in the Southwest Coastal region Monday.Meteorologists at the Maine DEP say ‘Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups’ levels of particle pollution were recorded in the Southwest Coastal areas on Sunday and continue in that range Monday.
