Preliminary information reveals that authorities are looking for a white male suspect, potentially driving a blue Buick 2-door sedan with Missouri license plates GD8W5J.

The missing teen, Skye Meiler, is described as a white female, 16 years old, last seen wearing a gray shirt, black shorts and white sneakers. She is is about 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing approximately 165 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair, police said.

An Amber Alert was issued Wednesday afternoon for a missing Houston teen, and the public was urged to contact authorities with any information.
