January 31, 2011 / 11:08 PM EST / CBS Detroit The Grand Rapids retailer Meijer Inc. has announced a new online grocery service offering thousands of grocery and drugstore items to customers worldwide.

Adding the massive Chicagoland to its service area, Meijer and Shipt’s grocery delivery partnership now spans all of Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, and Wisconsin.
